Nan is a follower of Jesus Christ, her lord, and savior. She is an advocate for the homeless and disenfranchised. As a professor and adjunct instructor for 15 years, Nan has taught both in the United States and abroad in the fields of international business and critical thinking. Prior to teaching, she ran her own consulting firm specializing in government contracting, international negotiations, and advanced technology contract formation.

Vansak was born in Cambodia. His family moved to the US when he was 12 years old. Vansak spent 15 years living in California, where he earned his bachelor's degrees in Sociology and Psychology and a master's degree in education. For the past decade, Vansak lived and worked overseas as an instructor for high school and university students. Vansak's passion is for the integration and empowerment of people to achieve their goals for life and faith. Education, MS Ed.

Marla Farris Atkinson

Marla Farris Atkinson was born and raised in Huntsville, Texas, where she met her husband of forty-four years, Herb Atkinson. In 1980 they moved to Roswell, New Mexico, where they started a family and an insurance business. She has two grown daughters and five grandchildren. About 1987, Marla was blessed to become friends and be mentored by Della Rentfrow, who taught her about deliverance and the power of inner-healing prayer. Once Marla experienced freedom, she began her inner-healing prayer ministry. In 2005, Marla became an ordained Pastor and created Destiny in Christ Ministries. She continues to teach and pray with people seeking freedom, knowledge of their spiritual gifts, and their full destiny in Christ. “So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” John 8:36

Katherine Denham Osgood

Katherine is a passionate servant of Her Savoir and King Jesus. Having known Him personally for over 50 years, she seeks to infuse the younger generation with the joy that will surely be their strength. As a life-long learner and educator, Katherine has taught elementary, middle, high school, community college, and university students. Besides, she enjoyed employment as a librarian, media specialist, and corporate trainer supporting AT&T Digital Broadband Sales.

The opportunity to serve the young among us is both a yearning for the fantastic freedom found in joy and the privilege of guiding the sensitive and innocent hearts of children in the deepening of their relationship with their King. The innate connection between the heart of a child and his or her Maker is a precious treasure that often finds expression in art, music, and dance. It is one of Katherine’s deep desires to guide children in the joy of getting to know Jesus through creative expression in the arts.

Katherine has earned a BA in Elementary Education, M.Ed. In Elementary Education with an emphasis in Reading, an M.S. degree in Library Science and Information Studies, and finally an Ed.S. in TESOL with an emphasis in Linguistics.

Armed with a deep and enduring relationship with Jesus, a lifetime of experience, and a solid foundation of education, Katherine is ready and excited to enter the journey of faith with children and their families.

Y. Michelle Brown is a business professional with global leadership experience spanning diverse industries and continents. Her corporate skills in banking and finance with organizations such as Bank of America and DHL include most areas of critical business analysis. Added to her corporate experience is her significant entrepreneurship in forming a consulting business working with small businesses and non-profits.

Her passion is in helping others, as exhibited by her continuing work in Christian ministry, which includes five years in China and Brazil.

Experience in China

She worked as an instructor at an international university, taught Business Communications, International Business, International Marketing, Production and Operations Management, and a leadership course. After 2.5 years of teaching transitioned into an administrative role doing Special Projects for the President’s office for the University and later, she took up new responsibilities as a Marketing Manager for the Development Office. She is appointed as a Director in the School of Business, leading a team to assess the school for the AACSB accreditation process.

Experience in Brazil

She worked as an Interim Director of an international school and a member of the board of an international ministry. As Interim Director, she led a staff of 20+, including missionaries and staff members.

She is a volunteer with homeless ministry from 2016, continues to work with this ministry, and is currently leading a missionary care ministry with a local church.
